Longting Jade Petit Manseng Dessert 2016

The suitable coastal climate, relatively cool plot slope, long maturity, and exquisite craftsmanship make the wine elegant golden yellow, long lasting ripe white fruit aroma and citrus, grapefruit, honeysuckle, chrysanthemum and honey aroma. The palate shows good balance between acidity and sweetness with well-integrated fruitiness and oak influence.  The coastal scenery of Penglai is fully expressed in the wine.

Vinification:

The Petit Manseng grapes have a long maturity period and is harvested late. The sugar content at the time of harvesting reaches 270 g/l. In order to increase the richness of the wine, a moderate skin maceration was carried out, followed by pressing, long-term fermentation in low-temperature by special yeast, and short-term aging in oak barrels.
